Hyfind:

The future of monitoring fugitive hydrogen emissions

HYFIND is an innovative detection system, under development and patenting, designed to assist mitigation of hydrogen fugitive emission. The System consists of a network of sensors made up of a battery powered electronic board for signal processing and data transmission and one or more nanotechnological sensor. Sensors are low-cost, low-power consumption and intrinsically safe, so that they can be widely distributed close to plant elements with potential risk of leakage. Encrypted data from each sensor are transmitted via wireless to gateway control units connected to Cloud and to a Data Management System. The final result is an IoT System that can process a large amount of real-time data ensuring integrity. The System is also under investigation for methane detection.
